We sure love the 4th of July here. I will have you know that we all wore red, white and blue today - even those who had clothing changes halfway through the day for serious spills.
Can you believe that Alice is 7 months old and can sit? What a great picture to put in her baby book.
We got to go to the "state fair" on base and pet the chicks, bunnies (who were attempting to dig themselves an escape route) and guinea pigs.
We also got to go on pony rides. I was ready just to put the girls on and see them at the end of their loop, but the nice Japanese horsemen had Ryan and I climb right up behind each of the girls.
All of us breathed a sigh of relief that they were not bucking broncos. Our girls learned about bucking broncos this week because Helen figured out how to pretend to be bucking broncos on the living room floor. Ryan felt it his duty to show them a video of real bucking broncos which have been the topic of all our dinner conversations.
